Artistic description of the prophet’s image in the poems “Khamsa” by Alisher Navoi

One of the topics that has had a great influence on the development of national literatures of the world, the rise of ideological and artistic contents, has become a source of inspiration for creative people for thousands years, and has become a topic loved by thousands of poets is the theme of perfection and a perfect person. In the spirituality and literature of Muslim nations, our Prophet Muhammad has been praised as an absolutely perfect person since time immemorial, and hundreds of works have been written dedicated to him.
Alisher Navoi, a great representative of Turkish literature, who artistically interpreted human perfection as the main important issue in his works, also has an important place in the works of Rasulullah. There are dozens of ghazals on this topic in the poet’s divans, and each of his epics pays special attention to this issue. It can be said in each of Navoi’s works, a special place is reserved for the praise of the Prophet, his attributes, and historical events related to him, including Mi’raj. In particular, in certain chapters of his epics, the poet artistically interprets his literary-aesthetic and religious-mystical views about the perfect human being along with a special artistic study of the Prophet’s poetry and divine miracles. For Alisher Navoi, these chapters, which have taken a strong place in the prologue of the “Khamsa” epics, describe the greatness, high honor and great status of the Prophet, first of all, it is the poet’s duty and the task of the community, and secondly, it is another way to give a worthy answer to the predecessors, has also been a testing ground. In this sense, the author of the article examines the poet’s skill in writing the verses in these epics, the literal arts used by him, and analyzes his views on the perfect person and perfection based on the verses.
