The globalization and integration of financial and economic processes in the world economy have prompted the need to elevate our country’s economic and financial sectors to a higher standard. This necessitates the training of qualified and competitive personnel capable of communicating fluently in multiple foreign languages, to support the deepening reforms aimed at developing the treasury sector and achieving financial stability.
The main aim of this study is to uncover the linguistic features, both similarities and differences, of financial and economic terms used in the field of treasury in English, Uzbek, and Russian languages. The specific tasks to be carried out during the research in English, Uzbek, and Russian languages with the help of the research methods such as comparative-typological (comparative), component and statistical analysis include:
1. Defining the financial and economic terms used in the field of treasury and revealing their characteristics.
2. Clarifying the role, place, conditions of appearance, and use of interterms in the formation of the system of terms.
3. Identifying and developing priority derivational models (affixal, morphemicmorphological, lexical-semantic, syntactic) of financial and economic terms.
The research results indicate that mixed languages have gone through a stage of acquiring new concepts during their development. Besides, the presence of terms borrowed from languages, such as English, Russian, Italian, French, Greek, Latin, Persian, Arabic, and others in modern financial and economic terminologies of the three languages suggests a historical and cultural interchange between nations.
An analysis of financial and economic terms used in the field of treasury in English, Uzbek, and Russian languages demonstrates the systematic relationships in the vocabulary of these languages. This study also encompasses descriptivetheoretical and pragmatic investigations related to the field of treasury on finance, and economy. Furthermore, it involves comparative-typological studies in these languages, which help identify differences in lexical-semantic phenomena.
