Abstract

It is widely known that employees in management positions, such as those in production, economy, tourism, banking, and related fields, often lack sufficient professional communication skills in foreign languages. Our research aims to improve the culture of professional communication in foreign languages among management education students in non-philological higher education institutions. To achieve this goal, we have identified four tasks: (1) studying and analyzing the linguistic and didactic foundations of developing professional communication skills in a foreign language, (2) developing methodological recommendations for systematically organizing language education, (3) creating an effective method for developing professional communication skills in a foreign language among management education students, and (4) studying opinions on implementing the competency-based approach to language education to improve its effectiveness.
This article presents an analysis of scientific research on the study and acquisition of professional vocabularies for students learning English for specific purposes (ESP). It specifically discusses the methods used for learning these types of dictionaries, the research conducted by other scientists on this topic, and the importance of acquiring field dictionaries and terms in classes.
The research conducted experimental and control groups consisting of faculty of management teachers and first-level students at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology (TICHT). The qualitative and quantitative indicators of the  experimental work led to the identification of the typology of difficulties that students face while engaging in speech activities and learning terms related to management. The article also presents strategies for working on texts related to the field of management and the psychological aspects of developing an integrated exercise system. The pedagogical and linguocultural foundations will be covered as well.
The article also provides useful recommendations for non-philological students who want to improve their foreign language skills in English and any other language.
