The primary objective of this research is to conduct a comparative analysis of the education systems of Finland and Uzbekistan, exploring potential opportunities. The research aims to: examine the development of the interconnection between global trends and the educational landscape; utilize experiences from Finnish education; compare the education systems of Uzbekistan and Finland; analyze the teacher training systems in both countries; investigate the material and technical support of Finnish educational institutions; and implement survey- based, result-oriented, game technologies, and project-oriented teaching methods from Finnish education into practice.
An experimental study among UzSWLU researchers utilized a Google platform-based survey master class on information systems methods. The survey examined information systems and organizational resources (human, technical, financial, etc) for storing, searching, and processing information during research. Practical methods from information syttems like InLibrary, Science, Web, Sci-Hub, researchabbitapp, mybib.com, Litmaps,Unilibrary, and Slib.uz were designed and
implemented as quality indicators. Quantitative indicators included independent use of systems like Crossref – DOI, Karl Malamud, Scimago rating, and OpenCitations.
The research findings indicate that survey- based research is employed in designing each lecture, seminar, and practical session, taking into account students’ interests and needs in the topic while enhancing the teacher’s pedagogical methodology.
The absence of a centralized system for organizing the educational process and developing curricula in Finland, the development of only a basic curriculum for national application, the autonomy granted to local educational institutions to align the educational process with local conditions, teacher autonomy, providing students with knowledge and skills necessary for life, promoting development and equality in society, and ensuring equality in education throughout the country – these experiences suggest that they influence the improvement of education quality in Uzbekistan through ensuring access to quality educational services for learners, fostering their development as active citizens of society, and preparing them for independent life.
